About
billiondollarpage is one wall where the ranking itself is the product. There is no algorithm, no relevance score, no engagement signal. The list is sorted by one number: how much each spot cost.
People land on the board because attention is easier to buy than to earn. A spot near the top gets clicked; a spot at the bottom mostly doesn't. Everyone can see exactly what everyone else paid, so the price of attention stops being a guess.
how a spot works
You put in a link or a handle, a one-line description, and an amount. If the amount beats the current holder of a rank, you take it. Your spot stays yours until somebody pays more than you did. Nothing expires on a timer.
what you get
Clicks, and a public number next to your name. Click counts are shown per entry and per hour, so a spot's value is visible before you bid on it rather than after.
this build
This is a functional clone built as a demo. Bids live in memory on the server and reset when it restarts. No payment provider is wired up, no money moves, and nothing here is a real listing.
