Rules
- 1
minimum bid
New spots start at $5. Anything under that is rejected.
- 2
highest bid wins
Ranks are sorted by amount, descending. To take a rank you pay at least one dollar more than the entry holding it.
- 3
under the top price still counts
You don't have to beat #1. Bid anything at or above the floor and you land wherever that amount places you.
- 4
ties break by arrival
Two entries at the same amount rank by who got there first. Matching a bid doesn't take the spot.
- 5
spots don't expire
There is no countdown. You hold a rank until somebody pays more than you did.
- 6
raising your own bid
Bid again on a link already on the board and it replaces your amount, moving you up. You can't lower it.
- 7
one entry per link
A link or handle occupies a single row. Re-bidding updates that row instead of creating a second one.
- 8
taglines
Ninety characters, shown next to your rank. Keep it to what someone gets when they click.
- 9
clicks are public
Every entry's click count and clicks-per-hour are visible to everyone, including people deciding whether to outbid you.
- 10
no refunds
Being outbid is the expected outcome, not a failure of the service.
This is a demo build — no payments are processed and the board resets when the server restarts. more context
